Coronavirus Service Action Protocol
Being considered an Essential Business by the Department of Homeland Security gives Capital Pest Services (CPS) the ability to continue protecting your home and family against pests. Although CPS goes above and beyond to protect its employees and customers on a normal basis, we have expanded our service protocol for additional safety as follows:
- You will continue to receive your alert message when the technician is on the way to your appointment. In this message, you can find these same safety protocols to prepare you for your appointment
- The service technician will give you a call to inform you he has arrived at your appointment and will stand outside a safe distance away should you need to come outside to discuss any details of your appointment
- The service technician will explain that we are currently limiting standard pest control protocol to exterior only treatment. This still has every opportunity to prevent and eliminate any pests or potential pests that might enter the home
- The service technician will come inside the home for treatment ONLY if you, the customer, feel it is completely necessary for us to do so
- If interior service is requested, the service technician will wear gloves and a face mask for the duration of interior treatment and ONLY spot treat areas of concern
- At this time we are eliminating hand to hand exchange of customer’s payments at the time of appointment. The technician will direct you to call your credit card into our office over the phone, go to our website to pay your bill, or mail in your payment and we will deduct $0.50 off the service to cover postage
- Upon completion of service, the technician will return to their vehicle to call and let the customer know the service is complete, discuss any details of the appointment, and email the customer their invoices and service orders
